Why purchase products through a distributor instead of directly through the manufacturer?

1) The Lumuh team is made up of highly skilled staff members who work side by side with each client. We have our own warehouse and shipping logistics staff. In addition, we provide customer care and technical support. We also oversee quality control, returns, exchanges and warranties.

 

SHEHDS Lighting provides limited customer support. They are strictly a manufacturing plant with a small staff running their entire operation. It can take weeks or months to receive a response from their HR department as they are currently supporting over 40,000 active clients. When it comes to warranties and exchanges, SHEHDS will often offer parts to their customers. They will not always exchange a malfunctioning fixture for a new one. This is an efficient route for a small issue, but not for problems that need to be addressed by a repair technician.

 

When working alongside Lumuh Lighting, we ensure that any issues are addressed, and solutions are offered quickly.

2) Our representatives have access to all the stock numbers for the China warehouse and both U.S. warehouses (located in California and New Jersey). We find available products to support your order, communicate where the items are coming from and what the shipping time will be. We have 100% access to SHEHDS’ inventory at all times.

 

The SHEHDS Lighting website does not always reflect accurate availability numbers. This can cause problems for customers purchasing from a warehouse that doesn’t have an item in stock. SHEHDS takes in a large number of orders daily, so items in stock may take weeks or months to arrive.

 

If you purchase directly through the SHEHDS Lighting website, Amazon, Facebook, eBay, Alibaba, or any other third party, Lumuh Lighting will not be able to support you. All purchases must be made through the below purchase order form, or by contacting Jeremy Rollefson via email.

 

 

 

Lighting Design Consultation

If you have questions regarding what lights you should purchase for your venue or application, Lumuh Lighting provides professional consultation services. We can help you create a customized system that best suits the needs for your project. We charge a refundable consultation fee of $200 - $500 USD (depending on project size) that will be credited back to your order for that specific purchase.

Reseller, Trade, and Wholesale Accounts 

​

Currently, there are not any opportunities to set up a reseller, trade, or wholesale account with SHEHDS or Lumuh Lighting. SHEHDS sells their products at cost, so there are no price margins to profit as a reseller. Over this next year, one of our goals is to help SHEHDS raise the value of their products in order to allow more resellers to work alongside Lumuh and build a bigger distribution network.

Shipping

 

Currently, all items sent out from our U.S. warehouse have a shipping ETA of 5 to 10 days.

​

Items drop-shipped from China have a shipping ETA of 10 to 25 days.

 

Returns and Exchanges 

 

If you have ordered through Lumuh and your package arrives damaged, please contact us immediately so that we can file a claim with the shipping carrier. If the physical item is damaged or not functioning properly, please contact our team so that we can help address the issue.

 

All refunds will be issued within 30 days after receiving your items.

If you choose to return an item, you will be responsible for the following:

- 20% restocking fee

- Compensation to Lumuh Lighting for the initial shipping cost 

- Cost associated with freighting the item back to our warehouse or repair center (FedEx, DHL, UPS or USPS) 

 

Exchanges will also be accepted within 30 days of receiving your product. However, the customer will be responsible for the cost of freighting the item back to our warehouse.

 

Any damaged items, or items missing their UPC will not be accepted as a return.

 

Do not send the returned or exchanged item to the original “shipped from” address. Please contact a Lumuh Lighting representative before beginning the return or exchange process.

 

 

 

Warranty Information 

 

All Lumuh Lighting customers will receive a one-year manufacturer warranty. Past one year, the customer will be responsible for the cost of shipping to our repair center, in addition to the repairs of the light. Lumuh Lighting will cover the cost for the item to be shipped back to the customer after the repair is complete.

 

 

 

Distribution Fee

 

Lumuh charges a 20% distribution fee to all orders. We do not profit from selling SHEHDS products. SHEHDS sells their products at WHOLESALE, so there is no profitability as a reseller/distributor of their products.

 

The immediate advertised price found on the SHEHDS website is the pricing from the U.S. warehouse. If that item is not available in a U.S. warehouse, that item will need to be shipped from our China location. The price of that item will change to the “China by Air” price.

 

All orders have added shipping insurance to protect the products in transit. This is the most efficient way to ship items. The shipping carrier is then responsible for any damaged packages.
